Thursday 18th February 2010

I've finally decided that I might just smile for the camera occasionally, so here are a few pics, just to prove it! I've been under the weather the past week, with a nasty cough and a cold, so when mummy and I went out to meet Aunty Becky in Oxford yesterday for the day, I had to wear my wooly hat. Don't I look cool? Needless to say it didn't stay on my head very long, as I had great fun pulling it off every 5 minutes to keep mummy on her toes! Tee hee, I did find it very funny.
I have now learned to sit up all by myself, this is a good development, as it means that I can sit in my new high chair quite well. I love my new high chair. It's the same as Harriet's and arrived last week. Daddy put it together, and I've been eating all my meals sitting in it since the weekend. Don't I look grown up? It doesn't help me get any less messy with my food though, as you can see, I still manage to get most of it over my face when I eat. Yum, yum - I'm doing well with my food, I'm now trying to suck on rusks and rice cakes, but I can't wait until I've got a few teeth when I can crunch and munch my way through more different things. I'm off to see my cousins Daniel, Joseph and Georgie tomorrow. We're going to Birdland together, so I can't wait to see all the different birds.

  1. Well, you took your time to give us a smile on camera, but it was definitely worth it. sorry I did not see more of you on Tuesday as you were in the creche most of the time - better luck next time!
    Love grandpa.

  2. Hello Bea - what beautiful smiles - you happy girl. Hope you're much better. Even better still, I'm coming to see you tomorrow and can catch up on lots of hugs and cuddles. Can't wait. I'm going to kidnap Harriet for the weekend - so it'll be very quiet in your house.
    lots of love & cuddles
